A Gandhi-style act of civil disobedience? Let there be restraint by Najib, his governmen, his police....

If people choose to act for a cause that they believe in ....

If people choose to act against 'bad laws' that impede the right to peaceful assembly and expression...

Let it all be peaceful and non-violent - even in the face of violence from the authorities and some quarters...

Beware also the fact that there maybe 'agents of certain quarters', who may pretend to be part of this peaceful action who may be there just to create 'violence' - with the intention of discrediting peaceful actions, and thus 'justifying' the worry of the police and the government.  Beware the 'agent provocateurs'..

Having just watched again the movie 'Gandhi' - I see so many similarities - and, I still hope that the government and its police will exercise restraint and allow whatever peaceful protests by whatever quarters to proceed peacefully in democratic Malaysia.

Many, despite the threat of arrests, water cannons, tear gas, ... may still decide that they will go...and that will be their own choice, and I appeal again to Najib and his government to reasonably allow this right to peaceful assembly and expression...
