Well, there is a poll at the official website of the Malaysian Department Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Human Resources , and it reads as follows:-
Information provided in the Department's website is helpful in providing information and resources that are useful to all parties in matters relating to occupational safety and health in this country
But, when you vote 'Disagree' - it states 'Invalid Token' - and the vote is not recorded, thus when you look at the results, it looks like all that have voted Strongly Agree or Agree and no one disagrees. This is a lie - is it intentional or just a technical fault, and if the later then better correct it fast.

Of course, Malaysia's BN government only likes to highlight when people agree with it - not when people are against them.
The statistics provided also is most inadequate:-
What we would like to know is :-
* How many industrial accidents reported (not just the number investigated?)
* The nature of these accidents - and the nature of the injuries caused, and if there was disability - what was it? And, of course the remedy that the victim received, and the action taken against the employer - this would be educational and will also be a deterrent. Also good to know what has been ordered to be done at the workplace to prevent a recurrence of the said dangerous incident.
* Want to know how many cases of industrial accidents, ... and how many were occupational diseases
* After investigation - if the company was found to be guilty - then the names of these companies, actions taken should also be made known
* Identity of the victim - local or migrant worker, permanent or contractual employee. Whether the victim was an employee of the principal(owner/operator) or 3rd party or someone else is also relevant.
* Under which law were they covered SOCSO or Workmen's Compensation
* Judgments/Decisions made will also be important
* Information whether there was a shut-down order made pending investigation especially when it caused death or serious injury...
(Disclosure of the worksite and the relevant company is also important)
What is important is full and transparent disclosure....
