## Hope Malaysian MEDIA reports it as the event was officiated by our Deputy PM, and the session with Tim Marshal was allegedly chaired by Ong Kian Ming??? I believe that the OPEN Letter is in response to the BURSA event below...
*OPEN LETTER TO BURSA MALAYSIA*
*LENDING RESPECTABILITY TO A ZIONIST CHEERLEADER IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE*
We note with the utmost regret that Tim Marshall was a keynote speaker at a recent Bursa Malaysia event.
Tim Marshall is a person with very odious Zionist views.
Typical of Western mainstream ‘journalists’ so beholden to their Zionist paymasters, he repeats Israeli talking points to provide media cover for the ongoing genocide against Palestinians by Israel.
He wrote in December 2023, when the onslaught against Palestinians was happening, that events there could not be called a genocide.
On 26 January 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) held that there are plausible grounds that genocide is taking place in Gaza.
On 31 August 2025, the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) formally declared that Israel’s war on Gaza meets the UN’s definition of genocide.
On 16 September 2025, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Palestine concluded that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Despite all the above and 77,000 dead Palestinians, including 22,000 children from Israeli military actions, Tim Marshall, true to the Zionist propaganda of which he is a loyal purveyor, refuses to admit there is a genocide in Gaza.
He repeated false narratives about what took place in Gaza on 7 October 2023 in an article written about a week after the attack. Claims of beheaded babies and mass rape of Israeli women by Hamas have proven to be unfounded and yet to date there has been no retraction by Marshall of those claims.
He is eager to deflect Israeli atrocities by blaming everything on the Palestinian armed resistance. The author of a book on regional geopolitics is fastidious in ignoring the history and realities of the Zionist occupation of Palestinian lands. Never once in the book did he acknowledge the reality that Gaza was an open-air prison; a reality admitted by other more honest observers.
Tim Marshall, like so many of his ilk in the Western mass media, is nothing more than a useful idiot to Zionist interests. No matter how voluminous and egregious the evidence of Israeli crimes against Palestinians, this type of media person will find ways to distort and shoehorn facts in order to protect and serve the Zionist agenda. As stated by Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur, and others, the Western media has its hands soaked in Palestinian blood. Marshall exemplifies that media.
Given the above and the Malaysian government’s very overt and vocal pro-Palestine foreign policy, the question has to be asked as to why such a pro-Zionist person was so elevated at a flagship national event. It implies that either the organisers did zero homework before deciding on who to invite as speakers, or if they did, they could not care less about the government’s policy and public sentiment on Palestine.
We demand that Bursa Malaysia explain why such a Zionist extremist as Tim Marshall was lent respectability by having him as a speaker at its event.
