PAKATAN
HARAPAN is confused about ASSET DECLARATIONS - The first declaration is
for us to know how much monies, properties and wealth our MPs have
....when they get elected. Nobody is bothered how rich or poor they
are...
After
1 year - they make their 2nd Asset Declaration > then we will check
and see whether they are becoming RICHER other than by reason of their
salaries/allowances. Are they getting more LAND...more SHARES...more
money in their Bank Accounts...more money than in their OVERSEAS
accounts ...We know how much they LEGALLY ear as MPs - salary RM16,000
plus allowance as MP...another RM16,000 per month ...So if they suddenly
have a new RM2 billion in their bank...we know there is possibly some
abuse of power or Kleptocracy...or...
If their spouse suddenly has got multi-million dollar diamond or handbag...we know something is wrong?
That is the very reason for ASSET DECLARATIONS...
It must be honest and comprehensive ..
PENDAPATAN/INCOME as MP per month>
Allowance as MP per month>
OTHER INCOME:-
Donation form King of Bora Bora - RM
Income from FD Interest -
Income from House/Land Rentals -
Income from Shares Dividends -
Income from being appointed Director of FELDA GLC -
Income from being director of PKNS ...
ASSETS
- Houses - how many? - rough value?
- Land - how many? Rough Value?
- Local Bank Accounts -
- Foreign Bank Accounts -
- Cash Money Kept in House -
- Shareholding in ABC
- Shareholding in GGF
- Cars/Motorbikes
New Assets/Monies acquired since being elected an MP
- Car
-Land
-
RM1 million from MP allocation of RM1.5 million >>>>HERE we
see that something wrong has happened for this item > maybe MACC
should investigate?
Income/assets
of Spouse > Well, we know that politicians can hide their ill-gained
wealth in their spouse and even childrens' names...
Look
at the present Asset Declaration Form > IT REALLY MUST BE IMPROVED?
to be an effective means for us all to monitor all our MPs and 'wakil
rakyat' to ensure that they do not use their political power to enrich
themselves or their families/friends...
MACC: Public asset declaration display postponed to Nov 1
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 — The publication of asset declarations by
Cabinet ministers and MPs on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s
(MACC) website initially scheduled for today has been postponed again
and will likely be published on November 1 instead.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Shamsun Baharin Mohd Jamil told Malay Mail that the Cabinet decided today to give ministers and MPs more time to declare their assets.
“The Cabinet decided today to give them more time till October 31, so
we will only publish the list on MACC’s portal on November 1,” he said.
On September 28, the agency’s chief commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd
Shukri Abdull said the initial postponement was to enable all Cabinet
members and MPs to submit their asset declaration, as not everyone has
completed three months of service.
Previously, it was scheduled to be released on October 1 but postponed to today.
Shukri then said the list will also be handed over to Prime Minister
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad before it is published on the MACC website.
He added that the declaration of assets did not involve state assemblymen and other state-level leaders.
He added the asset declaration form is easy to complete because only
details such as residential property, vehicle and other assets are
required. - https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2018/10/15/macc-public-asset-declaration-display-postponed-to-nov-1/1683128
