To ensure no KLEPTOCRACY - regular public declaration of assets/income of PM, Cabinet, MPs?

DECLARATION OF ASSETS AND INTEREST - We, the rakyat, need to be convinced that our Prime Minister, the Cabinet and all other MPs do not use their positions to ENRICH themselves and their family members.Justly, all MPs, who are paid by the people monthly salary(plus allowance), should dedicate themselves 100% to serving the people. They must no longer be having '2nd jobs' or involved in any other business and work to make additional income. 

 

WHY IS THIS DECLARATION of assets, income and interest so important? 

 

It allows the people to check and satisfy ourselves that our PM, Cabinet and MPs are not using their position in government to ENRICH themselves and/or their families. We know how much they get in terms of salary and allowances as MP, PM and members of the Cabinet - so, if there suddenly some 'mysterious' RM2.6billion in their personal account, etc ...we will know. a HONEST man/woman has nothing to hide from the people, and anyone who OBJECTS to such public disclosure is someone we must be most suspicious of...or maybe a person who is planning to use his/her position to become richer - maybe receiving 'bribes'...maybe engaging in kleptocracy...

 

WHEN MUST THIS DECLARATION BE MADE?

 

NOW - yes, it must be when the start becoming a PM, Cabinet member and/or MP...because we want to see if you are becoming richer 'wrongly'...

 

AND...there must be a regular DECLARATION - I would suggest every year thereafter, and most important is that it must be PUBLIC.

 

 

PUBLIC - it must be, and not just to the PM?

These are 'wakil rakyat' and our PM and Cabinet - nothing to hide from the people. No use handing over to PM or PH leaders ...because it is 'secret' and we will not know.

WHAT MUST BE IN THIS DECLARATION?

 

- Current assets - monies in bank accounts(including existing loan obligations), land and houses owned, cars, shares/interest in companies, unit trusts

- INCOME - including source of all income

- For wife and children - Shares/Interest in companies, ...maybe the same?[Should we include jewelry -'pink diamond'?? - Remember, during the UMNO-BN era, we have heard of government projects and money being given to companies owned by family members of Ministers...you should know what I mean?

 

 

MACC Pledges are all nonsense - for after all, every Rakyat pledges to follow the law - and, when offences are committed...No need for public swearing, etc

WE REALLY DO NOT BOTHER THAT YOU ARE NOW VERY VERY RICH - WHAT WE, THE PEOPLE, ARE INTERESTED IS THAT YOU DO NOT USE YOUR POSITION AS PM, CABINET MEMBER OR MP - TO MAKE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY(and...'friends?) RICer.

We have had a history when UMNO-BN ruled - it was shocking how the people's money ended up enriching even spouses and children...so this PUBLIC DECLARATION OF WEALTH AND INCOME needed NOW, and thereafter every year...

This will certainly help assure us that the new Pakatan Harapan PM, Cabinet and MPs are trully honest and clean 

IF PAKATAN HARAPAN does not want to do this, I and many Malaysians will be most afraid that things will be same as when UMNO-BN governed this country...

BE HONEST AND TRANSPARENT..

SAME APPLIES TO THE STATE GOVERNMENTS TOO...
